About the Journal
Al-Wa’iyah Journal aims to facilitate the dissemination of scientific knowledge, research findings, and theoretical discussions in the fields of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Extension, Islamic Preaching (Da‘wah), and Islamic Psychology.
The journal welcomes submissions from researchers, lecturers, students, and practitioners who are interested in interdisciplinary approaches that integrate Islamic values with academic and professional practices in guidance, counseling, da‘wah, and psychology.
Focus and Scope
Al-Wa'iyah Journal features scholarly articles derived from both theoretical explorations and empirical research. It focuses on advancing concepts and theories related to:

- Islamic Extension and Community Development
Open Access Policy
Al-Wa’iyah Journal adopts an Open Access policy, allowing all articles to be freely accessed, read, downloaded, and distributed without charge. This policy promotes the free exchange of knowledge and enhances the global visibility of scholarly work.

Authors retain the copyright of their articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and scientific integrity.
Author Charges
Article Processing Charges (APC) Al-Wa'iyah Journal does not charge authors any submission fees, article processing charges (APC), or any other publication-related fees. There are no charges at any stage of the submission and publication process.

The names and email addresses entered into the Al-Wa’iyah Journal system will be used exclusively for scholarly publication purposes and will not be shared with any third party.
Archiving
Al-Wa'iyah Journal is committed to the long-term digital preservation of all published content. The journal uses the following preservation systems:
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) Al-Wa'iyah Journal actively participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which provides free preservation services for OJS journals. All published content is automatically deposited and preserved in this network, ensuring permanent accessibility even if the journal ceases publication.
LOCKSS and CLOCKSS This journal also utilizes the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create permanent archives for the purpose of preservation and restoration.

The journal is published at 2025 by the Department of Islamic Guidance and Extension, Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam As-Sunnah Deli Serdang, as part of its commitment to advancing Islamic scholarship in Islamic Extension, and Da‘wah.
