Al-Wa'iyah is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes theoretical and empirical research in the fields of Islamic Guidance and Counseling, Islamic Preaching and Communication, Islamic Psychology, and Islamic Extension. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from researchers, academics, and practitioners who seek to advance knowledge and professional practice at the intersection of Islamic values and human well-being.

The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following thematic areas:

1. Islamic Guidance and Counseling Islamic counseling theory and practice, school-based and family Islamic guidance, career and personal development counseling in Islamic perspective, and the professionalism of Islamic counselors.

2. Islamic Preaching and Communication Da'wah methods and strategies, digital da'wah and new media, intercultural and interreligious communication, and media analysis in Islamic communication.

3. Islamic Psychology and Mental Well-being Islamic psychotherapy, spiritual and moral psychology, qalb-based personality and character development, mental health from an Islamic perspective, and psychospiritual intervention models.

4. Islamic Extension and Community Development Community-based Islamic extension (penyuluhan agama), religious literacy and awareness, the role of Islamic religious instructors (penyuluh agama), and faith-based community empowerment.
